About Us

We are a small family business based at Bournemouth in Dorset, on the South Coast of England, offering a Professional Photography Service, as well as a web design service especially catering for model portfolios. Captivelight was founded in 2003 by award winning photographer Miles Herbert with the aim of providing a good value for money, reliable, friendly but professional service to our customers, and being a small business the "personal touch" is still important to us.

Images have been published in many national publications, including Practical Photography, Photography Monthly, Total Digital Photography and Digital Photo Magazines, as well as many regional publications. Photos have also been published further afield in the USA, Canada and Australia, used for advertising, illustrations in books and for zoo information touch screens.

Local clients include Liberty's Raptor And Reptile Centre, Ceilings And Walls Ltd, Catering Industrial Clothing Ltd, Christ The King RC Primary School, The Orchard Nursery, CTK Flower Festivals, and Forest Falconry, as well as numerous private individuals.

Our services include event photography, such as Weddings, Parties, Christenings, First Holy Communion and outdoor events such as Horse Shows, Dog Shows, Music Festivals and Folk Festivals, with full online selling capability using private portfolios for your privacy
